Sara Bareilles’ visit to the UK : full recap

As you all know, after 3 years, Sara went back to the UK for a few days at the very beginning of June. The least I can say is that it must have been a crazy few days for her and the rest of the Sara B crew and band (#Tr3niteh) as they did a lot of promotion in London and Manchester, in addition to two sold out shows at the Islington Assembly Hall.

Here’s a recap so you can make sure you didn’t miss a thing.

First of all, Sara did an interview with Sir Terry Wogan on BBC Radio 2 on Sunday June 1. She also performed Brave and I Choose You. Unfortunately the episode is no longer available online.

Sara took over the @maximumpop Twitter account to answer a few questions from fans. She did it with style. 😉

Steve Goold, Misty Boyce and Sara played two sold out shows at the Islington Assembly Hall. I was there and it was absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed meeting some of you guys as well!

On June 2nd, Sara performed “Parking Lot” live for the very first time :

A French fan had a moment with Sara during the 2nd show 😉 :

You can listen to the whole show on Soundcloud (Thanks Emma!) :

The setlist of the shows can be found on the fan community.

You can also read a great review of the show here.

After the show Sara headed to Manchester to do an interview on BBC Breakfast early the next morning :

She filmed an acoustic session (“I Choose You”) for Balcony TV in The Roof Gardens in London. The video is not available yet. Stay tuned.

She performed Brave with Steve and Misty for the Reload Sessions :

She did an interview with the British Magazine SoSoGay. Read it here.

She performed Chasing The Sun with Steve and Misty for the Live Sessions :

She performed a solo acoustic version of I Choose You for the Live Sessions :

She also did a (great!) interview for the Live Sessions :

She did an interview on ITV and performed Brave & Chasing The Sun :

Crazy schedule, right? But so much awesomeness!

Cheers! 😉

Good to see there was all this media coverage. Also how far people travelled for the Islington gigs. Surely Sara’s gonna come around (again) soon?
