January : Sara released her first album : Careful Confessions

 

2005


April : Sara signs with Epic Records

 

2006


February : Sara starts to record her first album in studio with Epic Records

 

2007


July : Her first album, ” Little Voice ” is out in the US. In this album, according to her, she shares her way of life, her impressions, her feelings… Also in july, her first single “Love Song” is #1 on iTunes !

Sara hits the road with Mika, Aqualung, Maroon 5, Counting Crows, Paolo Nutini and James Blunt

December : Sara hits the top 40 with “Love song”

 

2008


February : Sara hits the top 10 with “Love song”
March : The single “Love song” is the first during 3 weeks !
June : Little Voice is out in Europe. Sara hits the top 40 with her new single “Bottle it up”

2 nominations for the Grammys !

 

2010


July : Sara is chosen as VH1 Posted Artist
September 7th : Her second album, “Kaleidoscope Heart” is out
September 15th : “Kaleidoscope Heart” is #1 on Billboard 200
September 25th : The Kaleidoscope Heart Headlining Tour begins. Special guests : Cary Brothers, Greg Laswell, Javier Dunn and Holly Conlan
December 2nd : Grammy Nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (King of Anything) !

 

2011


February/March : European Tour with Maroon 5
April : Kaleidoscope Heart Tour, round 2. Special guests : Elizabeth and the Catapult, Ximena Sari├▒ana
May : Headlining Tour in Asia. Special guest : Javier Dunn
June/July/August/September/October : Tour supporting Sugarland
July : Sara joins The Sing-Off (TV Show) as a judge
September : ‘Gonna Get Over You’ is released as a single, with Ryan Tedder (One Republic). The music video, directed by Jonah Hill, is out and hits #2 on iTunes Top Music Videos.
November : EP with Ben Folds
November 21 : Love is Christmas (Christmas song) is released as a single
December : Winter Song is #1 on iTunes Ireland

 

2012


March : Sara plays a benefit show at the Troubadour to mark the one-year anniversary of the tsunami in Japan
March 23rd : Premiere of “A Trace of the Sun: Volunteering in Japan.” on Vevo. The film chronicles Sara’s trip to Japan, where she and her touring family helped with the organization’s relief efforts in the city of Ofunato.
April 21st : Sara released a 7″ vinyl on Record Store Day (April 21). Tracks incl. Stay (Side A) and Beautiful Girl (Side B)
May 22nd : Once Upon Another Time (EP produced by Ben Folds) is released
