Sara Bareilles' book expected to hit shelves in 2014!

Hey SaraBFans!

So sorry, we haven't been posting for ages. But we are still updating our Facebook/Twitter on a regular basis to give you all the latest Sara Bareilles news.

I am actually thinking of working on a brand new version for this site, because it is getting quite old and I feel like I can do so much better now. We'll see.

Anyway, we have some exciting news!

Sara Bareilles has inked a deal with Simon & Schuster to publish a book (collection of personal essays)!

In the new book, Sara shares the challenges and triumphs faced in her career as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the songwriting process. Also featured are excerpts from Sara's personal journals, replicas of original lyrics and many photos of the star. Talking about the book, Karyn Marcus, Senior Editor of Simon & Schuster, comments, 'Sara Bareilles never fails to give us wit, vulnerability and unflinching honesty in her songs... It is precisely those qualities which will make this book an intimate compelling portrait of an artist in action.' The book is expected to hit shelves 2014.

StageIT show and Life Is Good Festival

Hey there, Sara B Fans! It's been so quiet lately!

Sara has been writing songs for her new album, and she recently tweeted that she has almost enough songs to start recording it! We are all anxiously waiting for her to share more news (and songs!) with us.

Unfortunately, this means she is not going on tour for the remainder of the year. However, she is doing two concerts in September!

Sara Bareilles will be a guest on the Life Is Good festival in Canton, MA on Saturday, 9/22. If you're in the area or simply miss Sara too much to wait until next year, get your tickets now!

In order to celebrate the month of Playing for a Change, Sara is doing an online show on StageIT on 9/10! If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, do it fast because there are only a few left! This is the perfect opportunity for anyone in the world to see Sara live. I am sure it will be amazing, Sara never disappoints.
